CM warns of extreme heat in Kerala, urges public to take precautions
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has warned residents about rising temperatures, which could lead to sunstroke, sunburn, and dehydration. Citing the Disaster Management Authority, he noted that temperatures may rise 2-3°C above normal in some areas. He urged people to avoid direct sunlight between 11 AM and 3 PM and emphasized fire safety in markets, waste centers, and buildings.
