Banana talk - backstory

I always use a lot of Malayalam pazhonchollu which ive taken from my grandmother . One common one is "pottane chatti chadi chal, chattiye daivam chadikum". My kid was asking the backstory behind it and noone seemed to know. Any one here knows the context/backstory of that pazhaychollu
