Audiophiles of Kerala: Your experience listening to Private Radio stations since mid 2000’s?

I’m an avid listener of Malayalam and English radio stations and am curious to know how private stations changed the scene in mid 2000’s Kerala. How did it come to be a part of your life and do you have stories to share around it? Also, how do they operate at night after working hours? Do they have an automated playlist? Do you still listen to the radio today or have a playlist that slaps to set the mood? Is it profitable to run a private radio station too. Anyone who has worked in Kerala’s radio stations?
