Asha workers protest

Shouldn't there be massive public support to the protest that Asha workers are organising? They are integral part or even the backbone of our primary health care system. Asha workers go home to home to ensure children are vaccinated, the elderly gets the required care and so on. They are asking for minimum wages and minimum retirement benefits. Are they not fair demands ? Shouldn't there be massive public support so that their cause gets amplified ?
