The new powerhouse in panki

Namaskar sabko, I am from kanpur, but not residing there rn, recently my mausi has been talking about the pollution caused by the new powerhouse, seems like initially the officials said that “ jo Raakhi, aur pollution purane plant se nikalta tha, naye plant banne se kaafi kam ho jaega” but my family members there are stating the opposite. Posting this just to know, is anyone else facing this problem around that area?
