1 atm is around 101325 Pa and which is around 1000 kgs. But still we don't feel the pressure. Because the atmospheric pressure gets balanced due to the body pressure of ours. So, if a human being gets into space without spacesuit, he explodes because of his internal body pressure and lack of atmospheric pressure.Then why don't aquatic animals get exploded when they got to the surface of earth? Although the water pressure deep under the oceans or sea is around 380 times higher than that of atmospheric pressure on earth. [ I'm kaushik ]
