About Scholarship examination

Hi guys I have few questions regarding Allen's ASAT 1) What sort of resources shall I follow for X-XI moving ? 2) Does questions come from chapters that are not mentioned in syllabus? Like in SQP (sample question paper) questions were there from chapters that are not mentioned in syllabus.
