In India, the first official reservation in education was in IITs for management kids. Not sc/st reservation but management quota from Independence only. Anyone ever complained?

How many of you know that the oldest reservation that started in India after 1950 was 25% seats reserved in IITs for children of IIT management? Yes, whopping 25% seats reserved. IITs were established around 1950. SC/ ST reservation in IITs came around 1975. But Secret ILLEGAL family QUOTA reservation in IIT for kids of IIT officials were started in 1951 and continued for 40 years by keeping upto 25% seats reserved for management kids. Criteria: \>Be kid of IIT management \> Score 60% in 12th. \>just Appear in Entrance Test. Discontinued when RTI act was passed. 88 students in 7 years is what the RTI could find. Details of students before that was not found due to old.
