Help needed

I am in search for a good college too. I live in delhi and I was above average in studies my whole life but I just can't study for jee as I have a sort of image made up in my mind that jee have such low acceptance rate I already took a drop didn't give jee in my current year as I was planning to go abroad but it didn't work out so now I am will to take admission in a decent private college. I have registered for jee this year but since I am not studying I don't think its going to make a difference. If someone have any piece of good advice please share.
