I think I am in trouble. Advice me!

So I live in a boys hostel, jaipur, Rajasthan. So I am an introvert and dnt like to get engaged with people here. But in my near by room a senior lives and he tried to talk to so I reply to him sometime with very little like I just say gm or hello kya haal that's it. And he always keep saying why don't u talk why do u study all day what are u studying, for which exam u preparing and one day entered my room also without my permission and checking out my personal tracker and books and notes. So what happen today was I was sitting in a senior room and he came there too and started same thing that why dnt u involve with everyone and then said to one another senior that he and his department senior both are *bhadwa* they dnt interact with anyone and show attitude and ignore everyone like we are nothing. I replied him that your thought process is bhadwa so you are talking shit like this. And then he kept on saying alot of vulgarity further which I didn't liked bcoz I actually dnt talk to anyone and how people are targeting me for the same. So I came to my room and texted my senior that this so&so senior said this or us and then my senior came with a hammer 🔨 from his room and started abusing and shouting in corridors somehow I took him back to room and me him understand still he convinced me to go to that senior and confront. We went and then they had a serious mature kind of talk that we dnt want to involve and so you dnt need to say anything about us or our personal life. Lastly on a mature note my senior taught him a lesson and lastly had a handshake and asked him to shake hand with me too which he denied. Now I am regretting telling this to my senior and scared that this could be fatal to me in many sense as he is senior and doing phd since 6 yrs and having a strong political background. What should I do? Should I be afraid? Should i leave hostel.
