Areas to stay to avoid stuck in traffic

Hi all, Me and my sister is coming for a 2 day visit to jaipur by car, and heard city traffic is chaos So want suggestions on which areas we should book stay to avoid stuck in traffic and secondly is it feasible if we park the car in stay and take scooty for 2 days , or is there any points which are quite far and car is needed for the same?
