Traveling desi, what's his deal?

Recently he has shifted to Faridabad with family for sometime bought a big house even though sandra couldn't live there for long. Bought a 50 lakh fortuner apparently he will be going cross country with that car hasn't been like that since a year. He is having parties every other day for random stuff even if he considers himself elite even they just have 1-2 parties for the child's birth. But he is having another party for welcoming his father in law, in western cultures nobody really likes doing soo much as they are quite simple. What's his recent closeness with these Amit ji and other people who were the owner of the Nainital resort? He has been inviting them and also being invited to every Little party, very weird
