What's up with exponential increase in Chhapris?

Any oldtimers in the sub who clearly remember 2000s in Indore (may be even until 2012) ? Do you also feel that the deterioration in the overall vibe, quality of crowd at public places, people driving vehicles, law and order situation or even language spoken starting 2015 but accelerated post covid ? It is just a thought lingering in my mind from sometime and I may not be a good observer. Any better observer who felt something similar? If yes, I would really like to know what's causing this.
