Indore horror hostel!!
Does anyone from Indore know about the haunted girls' hostel of Indore? For privacy reasons, I won’t share any names, but everything I say is true. There was an XYZ Ashram in Indore where most of the state and district toppers got a chance to study through a government program. This place had both a boys' and a girls' hostel in separate buildings. The old girls' hostel, where these incidents took place, is now empty because a new building was constructed, and the hostel was shifted there. In the old hostel, there was a warden whom many students and locals claimed practiced black magic. She was an old woman with a scary appearance, always wearing black or dark-colored sarees and payal. She always greeted the girls by saying "Radhe Radhe." It was believed that if someone looked directly into her eyes and responded with "Radhe Radhe," the next day, they would start behaving like the possessed girl in The Conjuring—as if a spirit had taken over their body. Many such incidents reportedly happened there. One particular incident that I can share involves a friend of someone I know. There was a function at the hostel, and as is common in hostels, students had their own friend groups of 4–5 people. That day, one of the girls from this group had been acting a little off since morning. Later, she told her friends she wasn’t feeling well and needed to take some medicine, so she went back to her room while everyone else continued enjoying the event. A few hours later, she returned, but as soon as her friends saw her, they knew something wasn’t right. Her hair was completely open, and she looked like Vidya Balan’s character in Bhool Bhulaiyaa when she lifted the bed with one hand. One of the boys in the group, unaware of what was happening, casually made a joke about her. Suddenly, she started running after him like the final scene in a horror movie—almost like the ghost Iyer from that haunted film (not flying, but running like crazy). The hostel guards somehow caught her and took her back to her room. Her parents were called, and they took her to some baba they knew. After 2–3 months, she returned to the hostel for her studies. When her friends later told her about what had happened, she was embarrassed and shocked, saying, "WTF, I did that?" That’s just one incident—there are many more. I think people from Indore might know this place. If you know someone who stayed in the old girls' hostel, ask them if these stories are real. I don’t believe in ghosts, but this really happened.2
