RANT: Unethical practices at Retail stores of Mobile Operstors
I'm tired of the unethical practices I've encountered at operator stores (Airtel, VI, Jio, etc.). It seems like they prioritize pushing postpaid plans and misleading customers. For example, I recently visited a VI store to port my number from Airtel to VI prepaid. The representative blatantly lied, claiming porting was only possible for postpaid connections. Knowing this was false, I ported through the VI website and received my SIM within hours. This incident, along with numerous other negative experiences, makes me question the ethics of these stores. I want to hear from you! Have you encountered similar issues at operator stores? * Were you misinformed about plans or services? * Did you feel pressured into purchasing something you didn't want? * Did you experience any other unethical behavior? Share your stories below! Let's expose these practices and hold these companies accountable. Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with any telecom operator. This post aims to raise awareness about potential unethical practices in the telecom industry. I'm confident that by sharing our experiences, we can collectively bring these issues to light and demand better service from telecom operators.3
