Background noise of some kind in Boat Neckband 250z plus

I bought this neckband yesterday via amazon and whenever i play any audio/video a very low volume noise starts playing in background and after i pause the video it just plays for a while and stops on it own. Sometimes it plays without any action and stops. Is it problem with my device or something resolvable or should i replace or return it.
