YSK: You can block almost anything based on keywords in comments or subreddit names on PC.

The new Reddit design, i.e., www.reddit.com, is designed from the ground up to fuel the doomscrolling urge. However, old.reddit.com still exists, and with that, you can use the RES extension to block certain keywords from ever appearing on your feed. It's found in RES Settings Console -> Subreddits -> filteReddits; this also supports JS like RegEx, so you can create more powerful rules. ;) P.S: You can also block all Reddit videos from appearing on your feed as well in the Domain section of filteReddit by putting **v.redd.it** in the domain.
