Is my laptop screen damaged?

Bought this laptop only 5 months ago, and now I am noticing yellow tint on the bottom of the screen, if I press the yellow tint area, it lessens. Please tell me if it's damaged or not and if it is please tell what could be the reason for that, is it because of overheating?
