Opinions On Naagin series

At some point the writers forgot that even the lead naagins are supposed to be morally grey. Morally grey isn't just your Femme fatale parallel leads, it's just having complicated and/or loose moral compass. Mouni & Surbhi Chandna's characters were proper bloodthirsty Chaotic Good—good intention, questionable methods. Teja's characters got into this whole mahanta role at some point, even Nia too. I'll spare Surbhi Jyoti's Bela as she was Naagrani and can't nilly willy kill everyone on sight, plus they weakened her character after Sumitra's reveal. Except Mouni's seasons, none of the other seasons seem to know what they wanted to do with plot. The closest we got to a proper plot was S4, and it still crashed. S3 & 5 were literally being carried by ships. Plot just left the chat. And I say that as someone who liked the filler episodes of S3 before Vikrant came back. Surbhi Jyoti is hands down the only who feels like Mouni's successor. They should have swapped Mohit Sehgal & KVB's seasons. Also one of my friends suggested Zain Imam instead of KVB in S2, so share thoughts on it! It's kinda hilarious that inspite of having strong actors like KVB, Rajat Tokas, Vatsal Seth, Shalin Bhanot, Zain Imam and Mohit Sehgal (he played Haider in QH, Jay could have been a good antagonist), it's Pearl V Puri who gets the most unnecessary hype, even over Arjun Bijlani who also I won't put in KVB, Sharad or Rajat's level.The only one who gets appropriate hype is Sharad Malhotra as Veer. Really tells you how much the script matters. Talking of script mattering, man they didn't put much effort with Shivangi in S2. After the revenge saga starts, she's basically Shivanya 2.0. Mouni did her best, but there's only so far she doesn't with a weak script. The only major difference i could say is Shivangi being impulsive & willing to torture the culprits whereas Shivanya killed them quickly. They didn't even give her a unique saree style in S2 either, basically copy pasting Shivanya. Look, I 100% agree Surbhi Chandna isn't the best naagin, but she put a chaotic menace energy into Bani that I think is missing with the rest of the lead naagins, yes even Teja. She was really snarky and sassy, even when cosplaying human. Also had the best sarees after S1 Mouni & Anita. Shadow & Bone has such chokehold on me that, especially the costumes (the Keftas), that I really grew to dislike the naagin outfits. The only ones I liked were Mouni & Adaa's in the extension period of S2 and Surbhi Jyoti's first outfit. There's just had a certain elegance and Surbhi even had few combat scenes so her's were practical & easy to move in too. I really disliked everyone else's. Someone made a post regarding the BS some mythical shows are showing and it just reminded that for the past all seasons they've been referencing Sheshnaag, when it's Vasuki who's associated with Shivji. Sheshnaag is associated with Vishnu. They even named Karkotak naag as the one around Shiva's neck in S2. Like how does someone fk up this bad with mythology?? And no one in audience reported yet? The worst part is Tamil & Telugu dubbs put Vasuki as it should be. Seriously, if they're going to mess up this bad just don't attach the religious part, like how some supernatural shows in west don't always refrence Islam but use Genies (Genie aur Juju/I dream of Genie & Legacies) or the Kitsune in Teen Wolf without too much Japanese folklore.
