Leads and side characters

To fit the side characters between the leads often ruins the characters of the leads. Wasn't it unfair to leads? Whether it is Harshad chopda in yrkhh gen 3 or Jhanak cast or Maati Se bandi dor cast? Horrible thing is the side characters can't even act properly. It is very unfair for the actors who signed the show by promising one thing but were forced to act something else.
