Insensitive jokes on Abdu on laughter chefs

I'm no fan of Abdu but was watching today's' episode of laughter chefs and the way the were joking about him- check below ur shoes, check in ur clothes, calling him chotu etc. I felt it's quite insensitive and might send a wrong message to others suffering from similar body issues. Ur thoughts on it?
