I came across a three minute video on my YouTube page from the official Star Plus account and it showed Dev’s gf trying to commit suicide because she found out Dev got married to Mannat. If it is going the way WTHA, then Dev’s mom will plot with Alisha to kick Mannat out of Dev’s life. But in WTHA, the girl wasn’t really Kanha’s gf but a one-sided lover and Kanha saw her as a really good friend or something like that. Here, Alisha is Dev’s gf who he intended to marry if he hadn’t married Mannat. I feel like once again a Star Plus show is gonna villainize the original gf for wanting her bf back. Dev should have never married Mannat even tho that’s the whole point of the show. Mannat legit doesn’t respect Dev and is always blaming him. It would be one thing if I could actually stand the FL’s acting but she sucks so everything Mannat does becomes even more annoying. I am so tired of love triangles and forced marriage trope. Dev had a gf this entire time and he still chose to “fulfill his responsibilities” and marry his dead brother’s fiancée. What kind of nonsense is that? Man, if Alisha plans crazy schemes to get Dev back, I can’t even blame her. I do think it’s offensive as fuck that shows have women be so blind in love that if they can’t get the guy, their only other option to commit suicide… I wish Alisha was shown as a stronger character but of course the show needs drama.
