Celebrity masterchef is the last thing we needed, and yet it's here and it's a thing. Angry rant.

I was sooooooo excited for the new masterchef season, since we didn't get one last year. But all we're getting from this production is celebrity masterchef which seems less about food and cooking techniques and more about melodrama. Why do they have to ruin every reality tv format by shoving celebrities in our face? And we have Farah Khan as judge, last time we had chef Pooja who was equally incompetent. Chef Garima seemed to be a breath of fresh air and with her the show made for such good cooking reality TV. This is such a downgrade from her, and now they're just milking off season 7's popularity. Some people are just passionate about cooking and want to watch a good competetive educational show with feedbacks that are to the point, and want to learn about new normal people who get opportunities to make it big in the cooking world. This new season seems to be some version of American Masterchef by way of the overdramatic editing (which sucks by the way), with uncalled for celebrity fueds and egoclashes. So the same bullshit as khatro ke khiladi where beefing, toxicity and abort abort abort earns greater profits over people actually putting their best to complete stunts. Fuck ITV. They want to rely so lazily on the format, just because it brings in the numbers, and completely take away from everything the show originally stood for. It's such a water thrown in the face moment.
