Bring back diverse stories in ITV
Man I am currently watching Madhubala (never watched it when it was airing cause i was too young) and the love story is so toxic but so well written. It feels so fresh and it aired in 2012 (MORE THAN A DECADE OLD) I was just reminiscing about how there was so much diversity during the 2010s era Sasural gendha phool - a fun middle class family sitcom IPKKND, Qubool Hai, Tere liye (although I havent watched Qubool hai) - romance dramas Madhubala- being one about a toxic love story, and one that is so well done Ek Hasina thi - revenge drama Bahu Humari RajniKant - Robot Bahu is brought to the house (such a good show) Saath Nibhana Saathiya - the unhinged saas bahu show with kalakari 😭 Naagin (S1 specifically) - supernatural My point is, good and bad, we had a diversity of shows and diversity in tropes. Now everything is pretty much the same, no matter what channel. 2 girls fighting over one useless spineless guy. What happened to the diversity of ITV?? The only ones that I can think of that were good post 2020 with no EMA, or 2 girls fighting over one man are Spy Bahu (which had a consistent arc), Udne ki Aasha and Imlie 1 post Aryan Singh Rathore entry. Even though Spy Bahu and Imlie 1 have minor arcs where another girl came in but the were already established vamps. Just my rant.5
