IIT Bombay admits to collecting caste-based data for job placements!

The prestigious IIT Bombay has admitted that its placement office used to collect caste details of students to provide to Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This was revealed in response to a complaint questioning why students had to disclose their caste category and JEE rank from years ago.
