India Receives Final Airbus C-295 Aircraft from Spain, Rest Will Be Made In India

 

India has received the 16th and final Airbus C-295 military transport aircraft from Spain, completing the import phase of a significant defense modernization initiative. The handover took place on August 2 at Airbus’s facility in Seville, where Indian Ambassador Dinesh K. Patnaik and senior Indian Air Force officials accepted the aircraft, delivered two months ahead of schedule.
