Madras HC restricts govt welfare ads featuring photo of any former CM, name or symbol of political party

The Madras High Court on 1 August passed an interim order and restricted any government welfare scheme advertisements featuring the name of any living personality, photograph of any former Chief Minister or ideological leader or party insignia, emblem, or party's flag, LiveLaw reported.
