In a major push to defence infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government has approved the allotment of 10 hectares of land on an annual lease rent of just Rs 1 for the establishment of an advanced Infrared (IR) Detection Technology Centre by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
