I love my dad but he has made some terrible decisions that have cost us our livelihood
So my dad used to be a very impromptu person he left his corporate job when I was born and started his business in second hand vehicle dealing and as far as I have heard from my mom put his entire savings into it. Then he fell into a pyramid scheme with a brand and lost a lot of money to the point where we had to sell off our flat and literally had nowhere to live. Thankfully my mom's parents own a house and they had a floor empty so we moved in there. Then he m.oved on to opening a restaurant business, again it was doing well for a while after which it had to be closed down too. At this point my mom convinced my dad to take up a 9 to 5 job and he finally accepted. This was the only time we could renovate our house and get new stuff. But then he said that he cannot work in corporate anymore and quit that too. Now he opened a general store business and the restaurant but the restaurant closed down due to internal conflict with the staff. The general store business is still running but it's not making enough profit to run a family. I love him, ik he's doing what he can to support us but sometimes it's so frustrating to see him struggle like this and especially seeing my mom and sister having to put up with this life. I recently managed to get a ppo and it'll probably start in Feb so hopefully I'll be able to help them a bit. My problem is that my paternal grandfather isn't happy with the CTC I am getting because that won't be enough to pay for my sister's college tuition although it's very hard to get a good job in my field (biotech) in india. Going outside wasn't an option so I did as much as I could and got into a decent company but well idk how my life will be going forth.9
