Opinion on GeorgiaTech

Hey guys, a friend of mine from a tier 2 college recently got into GeorgiaTech for his MS Aerospace Engineering. He is a foreign citizen but studied in India for practically his entire life. While GeorgiaTech has a great reputation inside US with a ranking of #2 for Aerospace, he and I were curious about what reputation does GeorgiaTech hold in India, especially amongst the people coming out of IITs. Please let me know your opinions, anecdotes or any hearsay you guys have to share about GT, would be great for insight!
