WFH jugaad while working in Hybrid model?

I am currently working at an MNC in Hyderabad, though my home location is elsewhere. To accommodate my job, I relocated to Hyderabad with my wife and our two-year-old child, while my parents remain in our hometown, living in our own house. At present, I am renting a flat in Hyderabad for ₹20,000 per month, with additional monthly expenses of around ₹20,000. My work follows a hybrid model, requiring me to visit the office only twice a week. However, there is no strict requirement for active office participation—my manager simply expects me to swipe in and out. I am considering hiring someone for ₹2,000 per month to swipe my ID card on my behalf for the required two days. This arrangement would allow me to move back to my hometown, ultimately saving me ₹30,000 per month. Is this a common practice? Are others doing something similar? What are the risks involved in taking such a step?
