RIP Auto Meters

Does anyone remember these classic autorickshaw meters? It's been over a decade since auto drivers stopped using them. I miss the good old days when rides were genuinely priced based on distance. (nostalgia creeping in) Back then, we'd always ask, "Bro, turn on the meter!" But gradually, drivers became reluctant to use them, and it became a thing of the past. Luckily, the rise of apps like Uber, Ola, Rapido etc, saved us from exploitative pricing! Share your own experiences with these vintage meters!
