MRI machine is so scary

Hey all. How everyone doing.i myself had a difficult day today. I had shoulder injury so doctor asked to take MRI of left shoulder joint. I was feeling completely fine that is until they started to send me inside the MRI tube. I panicked and couldn't take it, I was to scared. I gathered all my courage and tried after other patient. This time I had my dad held my hand for the whole time I'm in the MRI. And I didn't open my eyes much. I was panicking a lot but I survived through it. Honestly I don't think I could've done it without my dad holding my hand. I was the only one scared everyone else didn't mind it at all. I was shocked how people didn't mind being in such a small space. Anyway I like to hear your experiences with the MRI. Thanks for reading. I'm 23M btw
