How to convince my parents 🧘‍♀️

"I come from an orthodox family, and I have always loved storytelling and cinema. Last year, after working in IT for two years, I quit my job and started getting into filmmaking. I haven’t told my family yet because I’m scared they would stop me. I did try to convince them before getting into engineering, but I ended up doing what they wanted. In the process, I started hating myself. When I began writing again and made my first short film last week, I knew that filmmaking would be my life. What’s bothering me is the double life and the lying. I wish I could make them understand, but I know it takes years to get one opportunity in this industry, and eventually, they will find out.
