Received a 1000/- challan for making an emergency stop on ORR for 1 minute.

I received a challan for unauthorized parking on ORR when I had stopped on the shoulder for checking my route and the stop wasn't more than 1 minute. I didn't even step outside the vehicle. Any way I can contest this?
