Hyderabad Rant – Just Need to Vent
Hyderabad Rant – Just Need to Vent Hyderabad had such a great vibe a few years ago—right before COVID. Metros were easily accessible, restaurants were thriving, and the city just felt more livable. I get that the IT boom has brought skyscrapers and fancy glass buildings, but the reality on the ground is a mess. Roads are filled with gravel, cement dust, and debris from never-ending construction projects. Small streets in areas like KPHB, Gachibowli, and Kondapur are littered with construction waste and tangled wires. Building owners just don’t bother cleaning up after their work is done. Traffic has become unbearable, and the lack of two-wheeler discipline is insane. The explosion of delivery services has only made things worse—delivery guys park however they want, adding to the chaos. On top of that, I see so many new drivers on the road who have no clue how to use high and low beams properly. The day Lulu Mall opened, I genuinely felt like I was living in a low-standard environment. Took me 1.5 hours just to take a U-turn near JNTU Junction. Absolute nightmare. And the worst part? The other day, while driving home from work, someone chewing tobacco spat on me. If I knew who it was, I swear I’d have ripped their bones out. And don’t even get me started on the pollution—especially in summer. The heat is unbearable, and the dust makes it even worse. Just stepping outside feels like torture. Breathing this crap every day is a pain in the ass. Hyderabad is growing, but at what cost? Comment ur thoughts 💭 Ps : posted in other sub4
