Has anyone ordered products from Alibaba and got them delivered in one piece?

I am trying to buy some furniture from Alibaba, both for their price and design. now I am wondering is it worth to buy from Alibaba, how does it work ? Should we pay taxes again while we are collecting from customs ? Anyone has any experience, it will be helpful
