Do you tip your barber?

This is mostly for men who go to slightly fancier salons like Green Trends, Naturals etc. Most of the times the person who take care of me will come upto the billing counter and kind of stand there awkwardly. I just say a thank you, but do they expect a monetary tip? Let's say you got a hair cut and beard service done for which the bill came upto 500. Edit: quite interesting and conflicting responses, that's what I thought too. Does anyone know what would be the average salary of a barber in a place like Green Trends?
