Is only penetrative sex considered as sex in Hinduism?

So I and my girlfriend want to follow the dharmic way of living. We want abstain from pre-marital sex. But is it immoral to even kiss or have oral sex? I have read Bhishma's view on sex and he says that sex should be done only for procreation. So should we follow that?
