Hindu funeral prayer

Can anyone help to recommend a Hindu prayer translated into English to be read at a funeral please. A relative of mine who has passed, was a Hindu although had become westernised living in the UK, his family would like to honour his religion with a Hindu prayer at his funeral. We’ve looked online but there seems to be lots of different translations of the same prayers so not sure which is right and what would be the most appropriate to read at a funeral. Has anyone had a mixed traditional western/Hindu funeral. Any recommendations for what should be included. Any advice greatly appreciated.
