Cried in front of Maa Kali

I visited Kolkata after 9-10 yrs today. The first time I visited I was pretty young(13-14yrs old). In the morning I visited Dakshineshwar Kaali Mandir and later in the evening visited Kaali Ghat. And as soon as I saw her, I was kind of mesmerised and kept looking at her for good 15 secs. And then I realised I was crying actual tears??? I don’t even consider myself to be very spiritual or anything of the sorts. Not pretty sure what happened. I just couldn’t stop crying for a min. The first time this had happened with me was when I visited an ISCON temple. Then it happened when I saw Ram lalla’s idol for the first time on TV. What could be the reason for such reactions?
