Celebrating Shivratri in Fortnite the Game, with a Special Map of Arunachalam Temple & Tiruvannamalai Hill!

To celebrate Shivaratri, we spent 6 months dedicated to recreating the whole of Arunachalam mountain in Fortnite! Lore behind the map: The map follows a huge traditional celebration that happens in South India called Girivalam - a sacred 15km pilgrimage around the holy mountain of Thiruvannamalai. During Girivalam, devotees walk barefoot around the mountain, visiting 12 temples along the path. This journey typically takes 3-4 hours and is believed to cleanse one's karma and bring spiritual enlightenment. Our Fortnite map recreates: - The entire 15km path with accurate geography - All temples around the mountain with detailed architecture - The natural beauty of Thiruvannamalai Players can experience this ancient tradition in Fortnite by walking the path, visiting each temple, and learning about their significance through in-game information panels.
