U-Block: Is It as Bad as They Say?

I have secured an internship in Gurgaon and am searching for a place to live (specifically a 1RK flat), but I am unable to decide which block to choose. Let me explain why. I read online and heard from a few brokers that U-block is not safe, not clean, and is often referred to as the Dharavi of Gurgaon. However, some brokers claim that the situation has now improved and that it is no longer like it used to be. I am really unsure whether I should consider living in U-block or not.
