Lost wallet. How to file an FIR?

I lost my wallet recently. I went to file an FIR in the local police station, I was advised to file online. Can anyone tell me the process to file it please? I need a copy of that FIR to re create my vehicle's RC. I registered a complaint under the section 'inform police' of harayana police site. Can someone please tell me where I can lodge an online FIR.?
