Why is making friends in Gurgaon so hard?

Why don't these people think beyond daru/sutta (drinking/smoking)? I work in a company where almost every employee smokes and drinks. During breaks, they go to smoke and come back with the worst smell coming from their mouths. Most of the time, they talk about parties and similar things. On the other hand, I don't drink or smoke, and I find it difficult to stand near them when they smoke. These experiences make it so hard for me to socialize with them and have conversations. Aren't there any non-smokers, non drinkers, and less party oriented people in Gurgaon?
