Got laid off and now not able to get any opportunity.

Long story short, I got terminated from my job on a call in January, stating they're having a financial crunch right now and going for down sizing. Already a month has passed, and I'm still not hearing back from the companies I've applied to. Coming from a non-tech background, it's been really challenging to land a job in such a competitive market. I know this sub is not for these topics, but I wanted to share my experience. I also worry about how long a career gap is acceptable and how it might impact my chances. It's tough to stay motivated, but I'm trying to keep pushing forward and hoping the right opportunity comes my way. I was working as a BD analyst and also assisting the account management team.
