Question about Ro Ro ferry

I'll be travelling with family on the Ro Ro ferry from Hazira to Ghogha and was wondering if there is a smoking zone on the ferry? How early do we need to get the ferry if I'm in a car? Also do we need to take bags out of the car for scanning? Thanks in advance.
