Week #14: What's been the tiniest win of your week? 🙂

Could be personal, professional, or anything in between! I'll go first - I had a huge argument with my advisor last week (like really huge!) and said a lot of things that I most definitely regret. This was over my latest research submission where we didn't see eye to eye on several experimental details. And both of us were very peeved and I thought this would be the end of our 3 year collaboration. But in the next 2 days, both of us cooled down and kinda resumed conversation (although it's still very weird and strained) and we're working towards getting our write-up to a point where we're both satisfied with it. I do consider this a huge win! Usually I would have never considered another person's point of view when I believe I'm right. But, to understand and appreciate another person's perspective (and to have that understanding granted back to me in return, by my boss) makes this a nice win. 🙂 And a huge life lesson! I'll definitely be more measured in what I say to people, going forward. How have y'all been? And what's been your wins this week? (Big wins are overrated, in my opinion! Tiny wins are more impactful! 😃)
