Kind of childish but need your opinion

So I'm originally from Goa (both parents are goans) but I live in Nashik but I have been coming to Goa every year twice ( summer and winter break) since I was a kid and I only celebrate Christmas here cuz Nashik is pretty boring in general but it has good climate and it's pretty comfortable overall. When I turned 5 my mother passed away which broke my dad and some of his friends did help him but it was always for something in return. My dad's friends from Goa were always helpful with everything and consistently there for us and my experience with Goans even strangers were very good, they always seem warm and helpful without asking anything in return. People in Nashik and Mumbai are just not as nice in my experience living in these places. Now that I'm in college in Mumbai, one of my mangalorean friends on knowing that I'm goan started ranting about goans being snobbish and Goa being boring and nothing being there which pissed me off, I tried defending goan culture but she doesn't budge and she always talks about mangalore like it's way better tbh I don't know anything about mangalore so can't comment but it is becoming a habit for her to diss goans and Goa whenever I bring up anything nice about Goa like it triggers her. Tbh she is a good friend overall but opinions towards Goa is triggering me, even tho I should respect it but here Im all hot and bothered. How should I deal with this? I don't wanna lose a friend over such a petty thing.
