What is behind these fake walls at BOM T2? It's been 2 years since they are here!

This photo is from the domestic departures level of T2 - Mumbai when we come down from escalator. Quite curious about this. I am now seeing this sign since almost 2 years when common security check opened for both international and domestic. What exactly are they making over there which is taking so much time? Does anyone work here or know the plans? It is such a beautiful terminal building only to be ruined by fake walls at multiple places.
